No all these camshafts will keep VVT. It's the awesome part of these pacakges. Anyone who removes VVT removes it because they don't understand it or aren't capable of correctly tuning & using it. Our camshafts are engine dyno developed & tested so we can properly design the vvt phaser tunes to ship with our camshafts!
AFM delete is removing the lifters in favor of LS3 style lifters so we can run more aggressive lobes in the camshaft. That usually results in about 12 extra horsepower thanks to the better lobes!
These AFM friendly lobes i'm testing now are for the guys that dont want to pull the heads off their l99 & want to keep AFM functioning.
