Actually, the fuel economy issue really isnt that. I drove my SS every day, and averaged 21-22 mpg. Not bad for short trips back and forth to work, never seeing any highway speeds. When it was on the interstates 28-29 mpg wasnt uncommon at all. Im currently driving a s10 4x4 blazer with 1/3 the horsepower and it averages 16..now thats something to
over.
