I don't see a point in owning a vehicle and not driving it. I mean, I understand the "keeping it pristine" thing but seriously, engines can be rebuilt, parts can be replaced, body's can be repainted, etc.
Get out there and enjoy the hell out of the thing. Just IMHO.
