For instance: GM's CTS-V barely beats the current BMW M5 on the track and in a straight line...however, BMW is launching the NEW M5 already and it will most definately leave the CTS-V looking like it is stuck in park. Twin Turbo V8 with a projected 578 HP, 530 lb-ft of torque, 0-to-60 in 4.4 seconds and 188 MPH top speed. (the V-10 in the current car is 507 Horse and 390 ft lbs) .
GM USED to lead the world...now it follows. And it drives me nuts.

Really? Because the current CTS-V makes 556 HP, 551 lb ft of torque, and does 0-60 in 3.9 seconds. And ran the Nurburgring faster than the M5.
Who's leading who?
