Such louses in the world.............Did you check and see if anyone in the general area of the keying has recorded DVR security camera footage? I'd file a police report as a first step.
If the keying is through the clear coat, I'd let insurance handle it. If not then as suggested, I'd consider 3M power compounding and color polishing the area. If you're not comfy with doing it yourself, a qualified detail shop can usually handle it for under a Franklin. Good Luck with your choices.............Oh! and stay away from the area this happened.
