This actually proves the point most of us have been making. The car is 35k, we are VERY happy to pay 33k for it and get the discount GM said they would give.
you keep saying customers want us to 'give it away'... since when is 30-35k for a car giving it away? You want to beat us into the ground for wanting to get a decent deal on a car. I work hard for my money, I'm so sorry I don't want to just give it away.

I'm sure this thread is on the verge of locking, but I would like some input on this... is the camaro 'limited production'? GM is supposed to make 100,000 and basically sell one to anyone that wants one. am I wrong?
and finally, this comment "except for a few really good people here". I'm so glad to know what you think of the camaro enthusiasts.

We all know everone works hard for their money - Keep it at that
IS a consumer we look for our best prices.
Dealerships small or big will do what they do, offer it or not.
There are good points from both sides and we as the enthusiats don't feel this is a limited production car so that is our beef when it comes to the GMS and Discounting.
The "Value" is determined by what someone is willing to pay...I for one will not pay more than GMS for this car. Because I know if I do when all the dealerships start participating in 2010 or sooner....they will because like other GM cars and other manufactures cars they will be sitting on lots adn they need to move inventory to make room for newer..... The value ON my car had I paid MSRP just took a real $hit...........
