But a Alabama like this year is a strong 1 loss team...all the polls show it and the BCS still gives them a chance at the title (if a couple teams lose).
I don't think it would be a good idea to say "go undefeated and get a shot"...you'll have teams playing local YMCAs to get that record!
Like I've said...use the current BCS system, take the top 8 teams and let them play in the top 4 bowls...winners move on. All other bowls are still out there for end of season compitition and eliminate the conference championships...it'll make billions, crown a "real champion" and you'll have better regular season football because teams will want to be in the top 8!

Nah. Have a losers bracket in the early bowl games for unbeatens with a low strength of schedule ranking and strong 1 loss teams, and include the winner in the playoffs with the unbeatens. That'd work, and nobody could claim they were screwed.
