Why get the money back for the upgrades if you are still replacing the car? Won't you still want to upgrade that one?
I'm glad your friend told you that he wouldn't hold it against you for pressing charges. It would suck to lose a good military friend over something like this. You'll probably never have to deal with the parents or sister again anyway. You did the right thing... thanks for sharing your story and thank you for your service!

I shop is in Florida, close enough to FT Stewart but within 90 days of getting back I will be moving to D.C. Since all my household goods are already packed away when I get back I will just camp out on someone's couch until the move. Knowing me what will more then likely happen is I will leave GA with nothing but the bag i have been living out of fly to D.C and have a cab take me from the airport to the dealership. With USAA you build the car on their website where you get all sorts of military and government contractor discounts, then whatever the the price comes to be every dealership carrying the chevrolet name has to honor that price.
I will try to work it down on my own first and if they dont go low enough then i will give them the quote and the middle finger.
