We do need to be self sufficient (fuel wise). Eventually we are going to piss off so many people that we either won't be sold fuel, or it will cost us more than triple to buy the fuel over other countries. IMHO, the vehicle like the Volt is going to solve MANY of these issues. Man, I'd love to never have to use another drop of gasoline again...
