I would also guess this would be the case. My Hyundai is like this and I much prefer it to the old "pull it to flash, pull to click to leave on" method. Much easier to use.
I'd be glad to see that GM is evaluating the controls based on ease of use, not just the way things have always been done. Case in point, cruise controls on the steering wheel (although I didn't want buttons on my steering wheel
).
