Don't drive through the water with street tires. You need to go around it. You probably had water up in the tread which is what caused you to get squirrley on the track.

With stock tires you don't need a burn out. You just need to kind of spin off the rocks and dust. One good spin should do it. I just go up and kind of do a slight rev and clutch dump...nothing hard though. Burning out on the stock tires is going to do nothing but take miles off the tread. Drag radials and slicks are a different story.

You need to also make sure you lower the pressure in the rear to about 22-25 psi and raise the front to about 44 psi.

Launch at around 2500-2800 RPM. If you feel any wheel hop...let off or you'll take the chance of breaking something.
