The thing about signal sensing turn ons is that air pressure can turn them off/on. Meaning, as doors, trunk lid, is opened/closed, speakers move, thus sending a signal to the amp. It should turn right off as it senses no more signal, but it can lead to the issue you are referring too. I have no experience with the turn on feature in the Kicker amp you are using, so take this post with a grain of salt, lol.
There is a green wire in your center console that is switched, and I've read posts here that people have used it for turn on.
