You would drink race fuel if they'd let you...
But yeah, all these guys have great advice. Race fuel/octane is only necessary if you are going to run aggressive timing or higher than normal boost levels.
Contrary to popular belief if you don't change your engine parameters you will actually LOSE horsepower running race fuel. My friends at C5Fest did that when they put in a bunch of 110 octane bought from SGMP between rounds but ended up not having enough time to go back to the pits and bump the timing. They slowed from an 11.1 to an 11.3. Oops.
