From personal experence I can say that I have no clue! While the Z/28 was truly a powerhouse it gives up alot to the SS in terms of handling. If you wanted a 1/4 mile killer then the Z/28 was the one to have. If you wanted to be able to drive hard and still turn then the SS was the answer. I think we'll still have the same problem SS vs. Z/28 for a long time to come. Save yourself the headaches and get the one YOU want. The aftermarket will be so huge for this car that you can truly make it your own.
