Hey bro. do what you want. This is a once in a lifetime opportunity. Many ppl buy new cars and many are more expensive than this one. Hell you have almost half the price as a downpayment. I would do it if I were you, Life is too short. I work in a hospital and a persons life can change in a second.
As far as your question re credit. I would say it takes at least 6 months to a year to build up credit. If your parents would co-sign that would be in your best interest. Then after that first big purchase like a car as long as you keep up on your paymenst you shouldnt need a co-signer in the future.
Seems that first "big" loan is the hardest to get.
Yea I see what some ppl are trying to say, the smartest thing would be to wait a yr or two and we all can probably get some kind of discount or rebate or demo. BUt hell I have been waiting since I first saw this car in 2006 and I do not want to wait another year. Hell ppl on here were crying over a 30 day delay in production.
So yeah if ya want it go for it. Wish I were in your shoes when I was that age. I was on my own with a wife and baby, working and in college. So yeah bro. do it while ya can.
