It has been a number of years, but my wife and I were flying into Charlotte. We came in to land and just before touch down the pilot lays the wood and we power back up in the air. Interesting but no big deal. We then try another approach. Same result. My wife asks me if I think something is wrong. Obviously there is something wrong. The pilot gets on the PA and announces that windshear may close the airport, but we will try one more time. He comes in hot on this landing attempt and puts the plane on the ground. The reverse thrust almost throws us out of our seats. The pilot gets back on the PA and says, wwwweeee mmmmmade it! The cabin erupts in laughter.

Then there was this tiny little commuter. It has 12 seats. One row per side. A flight attendant, not the one working the flight, sits in the row in front of us by the door. The flight attendant working the flight closes the door. The seated flight attendant starts sweating bullets, turns grey and while we we taxi to the run way starts screaming. Let me out. LET ME OUT!!!! Turns out she is claustrophobic and melting down in a panic attack.

Flying is a great form of entertainment
