Very few people have enough to money to do as they will with any car. Thus, the money and cost argument is always a valid one. It all comes down to what somebody wants, and I wanted my SC Cobalt and now I want an SS Camaro. It's all wants compared to cost.

You both missed the point by a mile. I don't consider the S/C or T/C with a turbo being modded (change the tune to add more boost and it is modded). The V6 Camaro doesn't come stock with a turbo, BUT other V6s do (and are not modded). The have been designed for boost and they whip the $hit of of most 4-5 cyl. turbo cars.

And by the way, the LLT has some forged parts and some that aren't. It won't be the internals that go first, it will be the tranny. With a good intercooler and meth I wouldn't be afraid to put 12-14 psi on mine, except I'd leave gears on the track. Go look at the GM and this forum's Wiki sites and you'll see the engine isn't the problem. After that you would have to worry about the rod bolts and perhaps the pistons (but MS3 have similar pistons and aren't granading at 20+ psi).
