Yeah, maybe they are profiling you as too young and reckless to own a car like this, you are obviously, but none the less you need to learn to respect the laws. Yeah, we all speed from time to time. Yeah, we all enjoy the power, thats half the reason we bought it. If you never do it in resedential areas, never in areas with lots of lights like busy intersections, but instead on backroads or highways...you probably would have a better chance of getting a warning or reduced. Its not going 150mph...its going from 0-60 which you can do in a lot of areas and get your rocks off. Dont prove the stereotype right...Also dont insult the rest of us on here. We worked hard, like spending years to pay off debt, build up credit score, and saving up money just to get this car. Getting good grades in high school...thats your parents paying you off because you didnt have enough ambition to worry about your future.
Very well put.. My first car was a $100 POS I bought myself when I turned 18 and graduated high school. I was always too focused in keeping a 4.2 gpa while training year round for wrestling (4 year Varsity Captain, 4 years being ranked within the top 6 in my state) Family couldn't afford to buy me a car, but I never went hungry and always had a warm bed to sleep in. I have worked my tail off since I graduated high school and 4 and a half years later I cashed in some of that hard work for the coolest car I could get my hands!! You are very fortunate to have this car, don't mess that up!
