But a much cheaper route is Royal Purple Max Gear or Mobile 1 or .... name your favorite synthetic gear lube. I know the RP already contains the LS additive, so that makes it easy and all you need is 1 qt.

The benefit is the rear diff clutches working better with fresh lube and additive. Clutch type diffs wear out the LS additive pretty quick. They also shed a ton of clutch debris when new, which is why the old lube on a new car will look pretty mucky. If not changed, sometimes LS diffs can get noisy on turns/popping or the clutches not grabbing and giving a 1 wheel burnout.
cool thanks and do you know if mobil 1 75w-90 ls has the additive? i think thats what the ls means lol jst not sure
