Trust me; this was the toughest decision I ever had to make. I searched dealers far and wide to find a vehicle with IOM so I could see it in person. Finally the local Chevy dealer in town received a IOM Colorado. I have studied that Colorado in every light possible, sun shinning, rain, night, over cast days, ect ect ect…. I’m sure the dealership thinks I was sizing up the place for my next big score… IMHO, the only time that IOM looks orange is at night with all the dealer’s parking lot lights on. If the color looked like that in the sun I would have ordered it. In the sun it looks dull, almost like tomato soup…

IOM is still a cool color but it’s not the orange I wanted. :(

When most people see the color they ask “Is this the Victory Red or the IOM” because the colors are that close to each other. The color should have been named Inferno Red Metallic.
