Which appears related to frequent high RPM situations. i.e. racing. Also be aware of modifications to the motor, the 5.0 does not like mods from stock. Seems this engine went from paper to design to a finished product in less than a year. Did Ford cut corners? Don't know. Most Ford guys are sticking with Ford Modular engine for very high HP.

Damn....I guess all us 5.0 owners need to sell the shit off and go drive Kia's.
That is the most unsubstantiated piece of information I have seen posted about the new 5.0. It is garbage. I know of 2 untouched/modified motors that have gone.
1. Injector stuck open.
2. M6 owner who downshifted from 3rd to 2nd at a high RPM.
I know of 2 modified motors that have let go.
1. 275 shot of nitrous.
2. Supercharged motor where an idiot was street racing on pump gas with a race gas tune.
I would hardly call that a pandemic. I have seen/heard of more LS3 motors going away due to bad oil pumps.
Get your facts straight.
