I used to hunt down T/A's, Camaro's, Cuda's, Vette's, Mustang's and V-8 Vegas... In a 30 or so mph rolling start, none of them could touch me... until about 110 mph, and then I had to get out of it or take off... that Pinto was shaped too much like a wing... It got seriously squirrely... It did not like to leave the line though... not enough tire, which was part of the deception... I did borrow a friends N50 series M/T's, and proceeded to scare the crap out of myself... I almost tagged both walls at the strip... yes over both lanes, fortunately the other dude was sitting at the line smoking his tires... about a hundred yards down the strip, I hit second, launched the car sideways, all the way across the track and slid right up to the wall, over corrected a bit, and almost ran into the wall on my own side of the track... uhmm.. I was a little slow getting off the gas in my excitement... (read FEAR) What fun that was...
We built mine after a night of drinking in the garage and made a bet to my buddy that had a mustang that I could be him in my work beater. It snowballed from there. Great fun was had.

As far as BMW drivers I really haven't had any problems with them except for the snot nosed teeny boppers with the lousy 3 series hand me down from daddy.
