I absolutely LOVE the exterior styling and the performance/handling potential of the new Camaro. But, after seeing the preproduction IBM Camaro at the Dearborn dealership, seeing the production ready interior (twice) at the Detroit Auto Show, and the production date being moved back to mid-March along with 50/50 V8/V6 production off the line, I just can't do it.

I stopped by my dealership today and told him that I wanted to cancel my order and my reasons for it.. He said "No problem, I understand." I have to call him in the morning to find out when my $1000 deposit will be ready for either pickup or to be mailed.

I am actually going to be starting a new job at an Infiniti dealership next month. I will consider the G37S Coupe (I had a 2003 G35 Coupe). Also, the dealer owns a Nissan and Chevrolet Dealership, so I will also look at the 370Z and keep my eye on the Camaro (if I hear any news through Camaro5) and also consider a 'Vette.

I will still be lurking around here and occasionally posting on the threads.
