I would also say that I do not feel it makes the ride any harsher and if anything, it makes the rearend feel more planted and solid. This is 100% one of the best mods you can do for the rearend. I did the install myself and it took some time but wasnt too bad. I have replaced every compnent in my cars suspension and it has eliminated wheel hop and I can now launch the car very hard with complete confidence. Hope this answers any concerns.
