I assumed that the OEM tune is on the safe and mild side just like a maggie provided tune would be safe and mild compared to a custom tune on a maggie someone please correct me if my logic is wrong here.
I have always leaned towards adding a SC to my car but the cost is always a little more than what I can spend at the time so wondering what performance gains I can get out of the car just by tuning?
I do plan on adding a CAI Inc or Roto-Fab CAI soon and know that would add a few more HP and could get a tune to include those items. My main question is still what type of tune can I get for the stock set-up and what can I gain from it.....not to mention what a custom tune would cost and if the gains would be worth the money.
So Ted and anyone else out there that can answer some of these questions that would be great. Going to be adding that CAI soon and want to get a better understanding of tunes and what to expect HP gain wise.

Ted does have a tune specifically for the Roto-fab intake which I have heard nothing but good about. Our intake has a very effective air box, a very large filter, custom molded MAF housing with a generous radius on the entry and our inlet elbow has a 6" radius for a nice entry to the throttle body. In addition to performance gains, our system will give your car an awesome sound under acceleration.
The Roto-fab system functions well, sounds great and can be ordered in a variety of colors. Also, we offer an optional dry filter for those that prefer it.
Please take a moment to check out our gallery at roto-fab.com for a more detailed explanation of our intake system as well as a huge variety of customer pics, color options and other Roto-fab products.
