Was there a specific generation or year that had one that I am not remembering (I have owned 5 Camaros and don’t remember any of them having mail slots)? As far as I know it is not functional on the current Camaro. Is it just a design affect or did it come from somewhere? Like I said, this may be a stupid question (I am good for a couple of those a day) but I have never understood where it came from. Just something I have thought about from time to time. Does anyone have any ideas or knowledge on this? Thanks.
It's from a box labled "fake scoop crap" some GM engineers found in a scrap heep that Ford had thrown out when they redesigned the Mustang.
