Well we'd need to compare boost curves of both to draw a proper conclusion, but everything I've read suggests the centri will be at least marginally more efficient than a screw, at least in higher boost/cfm levels. Of course, comparing 12 psi to 12 psi (i.e., typical stock engine configuration), the differences will be quite small. Only differences would be the torque curve, influenced mainly by what rpm the charger starts producing boost.
