*EDIT* Nvm looks like on Rockauto.com the ECM costs about $216 bucks. Not bad.....I would consider buying one for backups sake.

I don't think you can get your hands on a spare ECM for the 2010+ Camaro. This is only from what I've read, but my understaning is GM has the market tied up on those and a lock on the loading the OS. Apparently the odometer info is stored on the ECM as well. It makes sense to me, but this could be bad info handed down by well meaning people.
