Unfortuantely it will cause the intake to be coated with oil. eventually it will hurt performance.

I still don't understand why burnning vapor oil would be good for emissions? A catch can that catch vapor oil without burning it would make more sense of promoting good emissions. Is burning vapor oil not creating any kind of smog or ordor or I'm over analyzing?
