IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT for BBOMG 2011 !!!

We would like to announce some big changes to the BBOMG event for 2011! First of all the event will take place June 10-12, 2011. This change in dates was necessary to accommodate the second big change…(wait for it…)

PLANT TOUR!!!

In co-operation with the recently announced General Motors Camaro Homecoming, we are pleased to announce that BBOMG 2011 participants will be given the opportunity to tour the General Motors Oshawa flex plant. More details to follow at a later time.

In addition we would like to announce that the Ontario Camaro Club will be holding their Camaro Nationals event on the plant grounds on the same weekend for this year only. All BBOMG participants are welcome to participate in both events however some activities may run concurrently. We understand that in addition to all the wonderful folks that work on the Camaro flex line, “Team Camaro” will be at those events to meet you all. If you have not met them already, come to meet John Fitzpatrick, Al Oppenheiser, Cheryl Pilcher and of course our very own FBodfather (Scott Settlemire). Another special guest will be Jeff Bucknum and the Sunoco #6 Camaro!

Registration details for all of the weekend’s events will be made available in the near future. However please be advised that official registration for BBOMG, the plant tour and the OCC nationals (see OCC website for more details) will be separate.
Those who wish to participate in the BBOMG should identify themselves here and you will be added to our existing list.

This event is going to be huge! So big in fact that there may be some people in attendance from the Guinness Book of World Records!!
As those who attended BBOMG 1 & 2 know, this event is all about promoting the people and relationships that make this enthusiast community as great as it is. This plant tour is yet another way to strengthen those relationships. It's more than just a car show – It’s an experience!
