Please don't anyone take this thread the wrong way. I too am/was
very apprehensive about "jumping ship" at this point in the game. I was at Basil for over an hour getting that warm fuzzy feeling. I consider myself a rather good judge of character and in the end had no problems signing with Basil. Of course it did help that I was speaking with the sales manager and not a salesman (no disrespect intended to those of you who are). I will also say though it is not my first interaction with them. I bought our company 2500HD Silverado from them a few years ago and my father in law just bought a new Impala from them last month as well as the 02 Impala I bought from him as a winter car.
This thread was designed just as much for those who haven't placed an order yet while they waited for someone to accept GMS/GSU. I don't blame anyone who decides to stay where they are- there is a lot to be said for that. All that really happened is I came across what I consider to be one hell of a deal and did my best to help those here who were looking for the same.
