Guys, there's no way in hell GM will actually call it the "HP Edition." It's probably just insider code to keep the name under wraps until its official announcement. I'm sure the name will still be the Z/28, but since the car has been the worst kept secret at GM, it's no surprise they're still trying to keep as much under wraps as possible.
Personally, I think "ZL-1" would be a far better name choice. In 1969 that was the best you could get (if you were lucky enough, anyway). Besides, the ZL-1s were known for making around 550-hp on the dyno, so it would be a nice match with the new one.
