The chicklets were installed on ALL North American GM vehicles from 2006-2009 (and early 2010 models). It was something Rick Wagoner wanted, as he thought it would bolster GM's image.
Needless to say one of the first decisions Ed Whitacre made post-bankruptcy was to get rid of the chicklet, as he wanted the focus on each individual division.
Hence, all Camaros produced BEFORE Ed Whitacre became CEO on Dec. 1, 2009 had the chicklet. It was about 2-3 months in that he asked they no longer be used. So, pretty much most Camaros built until about Feb. or March of 2010 had the chicklet, and then after that none of them do.
That goes for ALL GM cars and trucks.
