My Orange Krate is back home from the dealer. You all are going to love this one. I took in ALL of the documentation I could from Camaro5.com and sat with the Service Manager. He was very nice and earnest. He agreed with me that judging by the number of complaints on Cam5 that there is a problem. His service technician tried to duplicate my complaint and couldn't do it. I said I understand because it is really regularly irregular. The fluid was supposedly good. I am going to inspect it closer tomorrow when I have time. I will be doing my own transmission oil assay and reporting the results here and to the dealer. The Service Writer was kind enough to give me a paper explaining the function of the Skip Shift operation. When I explained to them I understood and that I drive a stick everyday, 120 miles a day plus heavy equipment, they got a clue...it ain't me. I have scanned the document they gave me because I haven't seen this one before (PDF Attached Below). It is a good reference directly from GM.
So bottom line...I wait until an official TSB comes out. In the meantime...drive em if you got em! WARRANTY!
