I Spoke to tech support at richmond yesterday, stated that they have discovered alot of flex and play in the housing and when they first put out the spec's they did not take into concerdition the play.
they are now having the unit set at a different depth and offset and appears to have corrected most of the issue..
he also stated that with only 1 quart of oil, there's a lot of back splash and the heat is not being disapated quickly enought allowing the housing to get hotter then expected.
Hot housing allows for softer metal...
mine are being returned this week due to failure(note i bought mine back in july, never got around to installing them until 2 weeks ago)
