Correction:
His car looks "massacred" up to the firewall. Looks like the crumple initiators work very well on this car, as the main cabin seemed to have maintained it's structural rigidity very well!
Sorry to hear about the accident. I really hope you get better soon. I REALLY hope being out of work that long doesn't force you to lose your job or anything!

I was stationed at McGuire AFB, NJ for 9 years...30 mins from Philly. Spent plenty of time in Philly. I know how the streets there can be. The SEPTA bus drivers ARE the worst hazard on the road in those parts!
