This is a key point, #3, and good to know. I will pass this bit of knowledge along to my convertible-loving friends... and hope they test drive and purchase a Camaro vert.
For ME, though... whenever I see a pic of the Camaro vert... I sigh. And say... that sure is a nice half-Camaro.

The styling of the roof is completely gone, and ohmygod... the soft-top...

However...
to each their own... and there
IS a market for this. And I, for one, would prefer that GM make the Camaro vert so the people who love both the Camaro AND convertibles
can get exactly what they want. 
While not to my taste... I encourage my half-car windy brethren to buy this thing.
