You can't touch ANYTHING!!!!! and the car they give you is so damn loose that I have no chance. I have yet to even finish two laps without being disqualified...

This game always sucks at the beginning. Wait until you get your camaro, or your corvette. When I first got the game I was racing with the camaro, and I won a car. Accidentally, I put 100,000 dollars worth of mods on that car instead of what I thought I was putting them on (the camaro).
Yep, I don't remember what the car was, but after a 100,000 dollars worth of mods the car was up to 60 some horsepower.
Yeah, then you can complain about wasting cash.
