Not really reving it more at launch...it will just bog down a little more due to less inertia. Also the lighter flywheel will not keep your car running when loping on its own..you have to be tuned very well. But it will spin up fast for you even on the drag strip. I would not waste time doing a flywheel without doing the clutch though..jmo!
