Just wanted to mention, if you get electric cutouts, they usually come with a manual toggle switch, but you can replace the manaul switch with a remote control relay.
We did this on my friend's Z06, and they work great.
He can open the factory bi-modal exhaust, and if that is still not enough, he can hit the remote and open the cutouts.
