I know this thread is old but I love it. Hello fellow Camaro lovers, this is my first post. I had a 1996 z28 for a long time and sold it for my 2008 G8 GT. My baby is stock and will be for a while.
Anywho, this thread reminds me about this time in 2008. I have researched the G8 since it rolled out with Lutz and have been hooked since. I read about it over and over and looked at all the pictures but as you all know pictures don't do the Camaro or G8 justice. My local auto show in 08 did not have the G8...dammit I want to see this thing! Without thinking about it, my wife and I went down to Orlando to have some fun at Epcot. Well after riding the GM Test Track it led me to GM's show cars. They had a few autos in there. As I was putting my info for the Camaro down I looked up and saw a G8 GT in Liquid Red on the stage.
Holly crap that thing was sexy! It was roped off and on stage but I got up there anyway! "Sir you are not allowed up there!" Yeah, that didn't stop me!
So in March when the G8 GT came out I got my first new car and have been loving it ever since!
Sorry for the long read but us car guys understand! Good luck to all getting thier new babies and I look forward to one day owning another!
