Do it. It's such an exciting car and I cant see myself ever getting bored with it.
You just can beat it's factory supercharged aluminum DOHC fully forged 550hp 5.4L for under $50k which can handle double the factory boost and make crazy hp all attached to a soild chassis that feels right at home on either the road course or running low 10's 1/4 mile track.
I was just like you and came here to learn about my future SS but after reading theses forums for a month I decided it would be in my best interest if I skipped the SS and went straight for the GT500 since I didn't have the $10k cash on hand to supercharge/ exhaust the SS and then I'm left without a warranty.
