That happens sometimes when there are deleted posts in a thread. They get counted for the number of pages but not for the actual post count. So its possible that there would only be 7 pages worth of posts to display, but 8 pages in total when you add in the 'missing' posts.

Another part that makes the business case for diesel less attractive is the fact that diesel prices are higher than gasoline at the moment (and haven't been significantly lower in quite a while)
