Oh yeah, GM is the leader in teasing us with concepts and then never making a production piece.

GM had a great marketing team back in the 50's and 60's...the entire country would literally shut down and watch a t.v. show or line up outside of dealers awaiting the covers to be removed from the NEW cars in the showroom...then the dealer would sit down with you and write up the order...a few weeks later, the car was IN YOUR HANDS. Now? YEARS.  The ZL1 has 100,000 miles on the Nurburgring by now...it is tested hard...the platform is DONE...the Engine has been tested ad naseum...also the mag ride...GIVE US THE DAMNED THING ALREADY!
