WOW! What a day for the site to be screwy, huh?

After extending the deadline and sending reminder PMs to those who had not voted yet, we received an additional 10 voters from our family!

So a total of 45 of our members out of a prospective 70 logged in and voted.
THANKS for making that extension worthwhile!

Here are your four finalists for our Name ‘Da Fam’ly’ Vote:
(Imagine drum roll, please.)

Dum da da da daa daa daaaa daaaaaaaaaaa!

1. EmeraldCoast Camaros

2. C5 Southeast Chapter

3. Deep South Camaros

4. Tri-State Camaro5 Club

A couple of things to consider…
None of our names are identical to any other groups that I can find.
However, we do have two that are similar.

Our choice #4 Tri-State Camaro5 Club is similar to the American Camaro Association’s Internet Club by the name of Tri State Camaros based out of West Virginia.
Also, our choice #1 Emerald Coast Camaros is similar to the American Camaro Association’s Florida Club by the name of Emerald Coast Club based in Cantonment, FL.
I don’t think either one poses any problems for us since neither are identical and we coordinate all of our meets through Camaro5.com, but I wanted you to be aware.

I also checked the copyright database and the Sunbiz.org fictitious names database and found no duplications. I did searches on 3 online search engines and found nothing besides the above referenced American Camaro Association similarities. I have tried to be thorough; if I have failed, I apologize in advance.

ANYWAY, ON WITH THE VOTING....
I will again be PMing everyone, but you do not have to wait on my PM.

SEND YOUR VOTE TO ME VIA PRIVATE MESSAGE OR THEY WILL NOT BE COUNTED.
You can post up your vote if you like, lobby for your favorites, whatever, but I will only be tallying the votes sent to me via PM.

This eliminates someone changing their vote on the thread and me missing it, and allows me to print out your votes for confirmation or in the event of a conflict.

I have a “Roll Call” sheet and will again be marking you off as you send in your votes.
Since not everyone is online everyday, nor do they check their email alerts everyday,
I am making the voting deadline Tuesday, Feb. 15 at 12 noon CST.

This should allow everyone to have the weekend for cuddle time

with their valentines and still get online to vote before or after Valentine’s Day.

I will announce our new name and winner Tuesday, Feb. 15 at 1:00 p.m. CST

Looks like rangerchevy better have that gift package ready and waiting!
