I know some people have decided to bolt the two together and there are holes for that purpose on the underside, but I find that the ties work perfectly and are much faster than finding a proper sized screw & nut. Just pull it real tight and trim off the excess.

yup, used zip ties... I was going to use a nut and bolt but I didnt have any in my toolbox so oh well. Now I am trying to figure out how to install the darn remote start. its only 1 cable harness and 2 empty plastic stap covers.... anyone know?
