Guys guys calm down.. I didnt make this thread to compare between a v6 and a v8. We know the v8 has more aftermarket support and we know that v8 is a faster car, I simply just wanted to vent my frustration a little because even tho I just purchased my cam I've been looking around here and other forums like the mustang, genesis, etc.. etc.. for a long time and it seem like the cam v6 is receiving the least love. Think about it, the new mustang is a 3.7 vvti v6 and even the new hyundai is a 3800 v6 which both make close to cam HP and TQ but the difference with their engine and ours is that they are already hitting 13's with just a tuner mod which is under $400 and toooooons of aftermarket support especially the mustang, and please dont say that mustang has been around longer than the new camaro because although the brand "mustang" might of been around for a long time but the new v6 in the 2011 are actually newer than our camaro so I dont buy the whole "our car just came out BS"
I just hope what "bowtie00" have said make sense because even tho the beauty of my camaro won me over vs any other v6.. I dont think I can deal with the factory power for too long and I only have under 500 miles on my car.. the more and more I think about it cars are more like a woman, the beautiful ones always end up breaking your heart lol
