Hey guys!! been a member for a few weeks now. You guys have inspired me to modify my camaro!!! I've wanted one for a long time. But when my mom passed away last year I just knew it was time to get one. My mom had a 1969 Camaro, it was her first brand new car!! She talked about all the time, I was the one she gave it up for (not a family vehicle) After hearing about how much that was here favorite car she ever owned for years, after she passed I was cleaning out some of her things and found a picture of the famous car (I had never seen it) I knew then I had to have one!!!!! I started looking on the net and a few months later found my favorite car!!!! It took some convincing my wife that It was not mid-life crisis but a connection with my mother!!! I had never thought of changing stock until seeing this site!!! Some of the mods are really great.
I Have upgraded to leather seats, added guages, stitched out dash and door panels with imperial blue metallic ones,changed to blue LED dome and trunk light,door sills, and color splash quards
I've focus mostly on the interior because my wife gets mad when I spend money on the car!!! She has only been in it for the test drive, which is fine with me ITS ALL MINE!!! She prefers her 2010 equinox so we use that as our family vehicle with our two daughters and two dalmatians.
