The only way I've ever heard of bypassing the speed limiter is with an aftermarket chip/tuner device commonly referred to by name as the Hypertech of Superchip. Although there has been an increasingly number of these tuners being made by other companies now, I'm sure there will be even more once Productions starts. They will run from $400-600.
It's a shame that ANY cars even come with such a thing as a limit on this or that. I should be able to go as fast as the car can go....after all I paid for it.

If they are going to limit anything, they should limit those damn riding lawnmowers, those damn things could kill somebody!
