I also bought this mount for my SS since Texas requires a front plate. I haven't been popped, but my wife got popped for it in her VW Bug... so why take the chance since I'm even more of an LEO magnet than she is.

In any case. The mount works beautifully. No extra holes to be drilled. And the customer service was beyond outstanding.
